International Middle East Symposium, Titled: New Geopolitical Transformations and Sovereignty Issues in The Middle East. <\/strong>This event is organized by the Center and the University, in collaboration with \u0130G\u00dcSAM TUBITAK, Knowledge Forum Academy, ODAP, and Diplomasi Vakf\u0131.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #2088c9;\"><strong>Symposium Scope:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Terrorism, Civil War<\/li>\n<li>Ethno-nationalism, Migration and Integration, History and Politics<\/li>\n<li>Proxy Wars, Sectarian Conflicts, Military Coups \/<\/li>\n<li>Globalization and Neo-colonialism, Democratization<\/li>\n<li>Human Rights, Freedom of Press, Media and Politics<\/li>\n<li>Finance, Economic Development and Welfare<\/li>\n<li>Social Inequality and Justice, Society, Culture, and Discourse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #2088c9;\"><strong>Key Dates:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Abstract Submission Deadline<\/strong>: September 24, 2024<\/li>\n<li><strong>Symposium\u00a0Dates:<\/strong> October 15-16, 2024<\/li>\n<li><strong>Istanbul<\/strong> \ud83d\udccd<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Guidelines for Abstract Submission:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Word count: 500-750 words<\/li>\n<li>Abstracts may be written in Turkish or Arabic, with an accompanying English translation.<\/li>\n<li>Include 5 main keywords at the end of the abstract.<\/li>\n<li>Attach a brief biography (300 words) with your submission.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure to include your full name, email address, mobile number, fax number, and institutional contact details.<\/li>\n<li>The abstract must be submitted by September 24, 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research Submission Guidelines: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The research paper must be prepared in a Microsoft Word document on A4-sized paper, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.<\/li>\n<li>Line spacing should be set to 1.15 throughout the paper.<\/li>\n<li>The text should be in Times New Roman, font size 12. Leave a space between paragraphs, and indent the first line of each paragraph by 1 cm.<\/li>\n<li>References should follow APA style (American Psychological Association) and be included in-text within brackets rather than as footnotes.<\/li>\n<li>The title of the research should be centered, in bold, and written in all capital letters, size 12.<\/li>\n<li>The author&#8217;s (or authors&#8217;) names should be written in lowercase, with their title in uppercase, all in bold, size 12.<\/li>\n<li>Author details\u2014name, title, institution, department, and email address\u2014should be included in a footnote with an asterisk (*) after the title, using font size 10 and italic formatting.<\/li>\n<li>The research should include the following sections: the purpose of the study, theoretical framework, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion and recommendations, along with 5 keywords.<\/li>\n<li>The reference list should appear at the end of the paper, arranged alphabetically by the authors\u2019 last names.
